    Remote is not working
I just installed both of my ceiling fans (Campbell 52 in) into my new apartment. Once I connected all of the wires, I turned the power back on and the fan was spinning on the highest speed. I hit the light button on the remote and the lights did not come on so I tried to change the fan speed with the remote and it didn't work either. The batteries are still good in the remote and it's the same problem for both fans. I have checked the connection for both of the ceiling fan's wires. The combinations between the remote and the receiver are the same. HELP! These fans are making me crazy!

Both fans worked just fine at my old apartment... why are these giving me trouble now?

If the remote receiver in the canopy was removed during and rewired upon installation, check the wiring between the receiver and the fan and light. Sounds like you connected the output of the receiver for the fan to the light and the output for the light to the fan.
