One socket of light fixture not working
I have a ceiling fixture with 2 bulb sockets. One of the sockets was not working, I assumed that it was old and needed to be replaced. I purchased a new fixture and wired it the same way as the old one, white to white and black to black. I still have the same issue. One socket is not working. Any thoughts... geez I wish I knew what I was doing.

What type of connectors did you use to tie everything together? Screw on or clamp?

One set of wires were connected with a marette, the others with a little brass connector with a screw. The brass thing was then covered with a large marette.

Its possible that you didn't mate all the wires like you think. Ive seen wires push back as you try to put the connection together. I would double check there first.
