Multiple white wires from old ceiling fan
    Hello,

We have just removed a very old ceiling fan and are attempting to replace it with a hanging fixture. However, there are THREE bundled white wires coming from the ceiling box. Do we attach the white wire from the fixture to the bundle? Or do we have to determine which wire from the box we must use?

    THANKS!

I might be interested in your very old ceiling fan.

I would assume the whole bundle connects. How was the fan hooked?
