Do you mean the primary or main breaker for the entire panel or just the circuit breaker for this one branch?

My suggestion is to call in an electrician to check the Main Breaker and panel and replace if necessary. This is not a DIY project.

ballenge>>>>>>it is the main breaker on the panel which trips...not the individual circuit...and the nothing seems hot nor smell around the main panel>>>>not sure if its just a dryer problem or main breaker issue or something else
