Light won't work on ceiling fan
I had a ceiling fan installed, and the light on it quit working. I thought there was probably a problem with the light kit, but since I didn't like the fan, I replaced the whole thing with a new fan and light. The fan has always worked, but the light still doesn't. Any thoughts on what it could be?

With 2 different fan/lights, it points to installation. Your question is short on details. The light must be connected to a source of power. This can either be a separate wire run from a second wall switch, or by connecting the light to the same feed as the fan at the ceiling with the switching at the light. Those units often have a white wire connected to both, and 2 different colored wires one to the fan, and one to the light. Try connecting both wires to the black feed wire.
