    Tenorio,

Resistance - a property of the conductor is determined by the size of the cable, the length of the conductor, the quality of the conductor. Is derating needed because of length or more than 3 current carrying conductors within a conduit. Or is Continuous On have to be considered.

Amperage is determined by the needs of the load. The conductor size is determined by the amount of amperage it can carry. Voltage is also determined by the load.

This question cannot be answered because you left way too much out of your description.

For example, if you needed to run #6/3 for a 60 Amp A/C unit that needs 120/240 VAC. The question would be, is #6/3 suitable for a 20 ft. run?
