How do I move and replace a fuse box

Asked Nov 15, 2008, 02:09 AM — 7 Answers
I want to replace my old fuse box with a new trip switch type. It is on the wall approx 1.4m off the ground. I want to move it down approx 1.2m.

Your question is quite vague. Are you looking at doing this yourself? Do you have any experience working on electrical?
Are you in the US or Canada? I see you wrote your height in meters.

Well then I'll bow out as I have zero knowledge of European Systems other than your hot and neutral are brown and blue.

In the US you would NOT be allowed to put a panel in a cupboard.
