Harbor Breeze Remote - Control Fan, but NOT lights

I bought a house with a harbor breeze fan with an LCD remote. It's worked fine for quite a while.

Recently, though - the remote stopped working for the lights. However, it still works fine for the fan.

I've replaced all the bulbs and have manually proved that all the lights work.

Unfortunately, that didn't solve my problem. The remote still only controls the fan.

Any help with fixing this remote issue would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Does the fan have pullchains?

Does the remote respond (LED blink, etc) when you attempt to control the light?

Yes - and we've put the lights up to 100% and pulled them a number of times.

There are two - one controls the fan (works) and the other one SHOULD control the lights (but doesn't work).

Thank you for the help!

Open the ceiling canopy, remove the remote receiver, and wire the fan without it. Confirm that the lights work.
