    Harbor Breeze Ceiling Fans
I have lost the blade screws for my fan. I went to a local Lowe's who are the exclusive seller of Harbor Breeze fans. The package of screws the Lowe's associate gave me do not fit my fan blade assembly, and he claims there is no other size. The screws he gave me were made by Harbor Breeze, but they are too big. I have repeatedly tried to install these screws to no avail. Is anyone aware of a different size screw available? The best suggestion from the store was to purchase a 1/4 20 tap, which I hope won't be necessary.

What I would do, is take the fan motor down to the local hardware store (REAL hardware store, like True Value, not Home Depot or Lowes) and find screws that fit. Make sure they are not too long or you will damage the motor. Or, just return the fan back to Lowe's for one that comes with screws.
