subpanel with a long run.

Hi,
I want to run electric to my utility shed. I was thinking 60 amps. There is one problem. The shed is about 250 feet from my house. I plan to run the wire under ground. So now for the questions:
1. What gage wire?
2. Should I incase the wire in PVC, or use underground wire?
3. How deep?
4. Can I run other wire (phone, cable, two way switch) in with the service wire?

Thanks
Mark V

1) A 60A feeder would require #6cu if in conduit. Depending on the calculated load you might want to upsize to #4 because of the distance.
You will need two hots and a neutral of the same size. The ground can be #10 if you run #6, or if you run #4 the ground must be #8.

2) I would use conduit all the way. PVC sch40 for underground and PVC sch80 for exposed sections.

3) At least 18".

4) NO! You need separate conduits for those.
