Harbor Breeze Ceiling Fans

I just installed a new Harbor Ceiling fan and when I turned it on I get no breeze even with the fan on High. I removed the little plastic tabs when i installed the blades . Would this have something to do with it or were they just for packing?

What do you mean plastic tabs? You mean the ones that if you left them in you would not be able to mount the blades? YES, they are for shipping. The instructions should have stated this.

I'm afraid this is just is cheap fan. Cheap fans do not move much air due to the low angle of the blades and weaker motors.
