Hampton Bay Gazebo fans w/lights

My husband has already installed two Gazebo 52" fans with lights on our porch ceiling. He installed them in the standard position, a little down from the ceiling. They are too low, threatening our taller family members' safety. How would he go about reinstalling them in the close-to-ceiling position from the completed stage they are now in? We have the directions for starting out from scratch to install them close to the ceiling, but can not figure out how far to reverse the process to get to the point where we can change from mid-height to shortest.

Most fans that have ceiling hugger option,
Remove light kit, and blades, help eleminate wobble later.
Remove fan from ceiling, remove pipe from top of motor. Remove 3 Screws, or add 3 screws to canopy cover to top of motor, usually can hang on hook with one of the holes to make connections. Install blades and light kit.

Ok, the ceiling canopy mounts directly to the top of the motor, with no downrod or ball. You have to remove the decorative covers on top of the motor and on the bottom of the canopy. I BELIEVE this model can be close-mounted.
