Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan Remote

I have two Hampton Bay Ceiling Fans in my office that works off of the remote the problem is the remote will work one fan just fine but it doesn't work the other fan at all please help

Ok, each fan is set to a different frequency and designed to be controlled by a different remote. You want to use one remtoe to control both of them and in msot cases that will work. You need to set the frequency of both fans to match the remote. Here is a document that includes instructions for that:

My remote will not allow me to turn off or to change speeds. I put in my pocket after turning it off. It must have hit fast as the fan started going fast. When I took from my pocket to turn off, it would not work?

crash2010 Did you ever figure it out? My son was playing the the remote this morning and now the red light on the remote is on and the remote wont change anything. The fan is on so I cant look at the code on the actual unit and I tried all 16 codes!
