Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan with R, Lights flicker
I have a 52" Hampton Bay Carrison Model 499-461 3 speed ceiling fan, 4 light ON / OFF fixture, with Remote. The 3 speed ceiling fan works as advertised. The light fixture has 4 new energy saving technology extra long life 13 watt fluorescent style screw in bulbs as provided by the dealer at time of fan purchase.
The lights worked fine for about 2 months, and then a slight flickering of intensity was noticed, with the intensity and frequency increasing over time. I made sure that the bulbs where tight. The other night, the four bulbs where very noticabally flickering in unison. I turned the lights OFF and On with the remote which stopped the flickering, but it eventually returned at a less noticeable intensity and frequency.
    What could be causing this?

I would start by checking the wire nuts inside the canopy, I think you have a loose connection. Tweist wire nuts until the two wires start to twist and wrap around themselves.

Try regular bulbs. You normally can't use fluorescent bulbs with remote fans. The dealer was probably mistaken.
