Hampton Bay Ceiling Fan light feature not working.
The ceiling fan works as a fan, but the light fixture does not work. Worked for prior 3 years. Changed bulb when went out, but no luck. Tried the new bulb in my other fan to make sure it was not faulty. It was fine. The remote works.. again used the remote on the other identical fan. Need to get it working soon! Help!

It's possible the receiver shorted when the bulb blew. This happens sometimes. You can either replace the receiver or exchange the whole fan.

    Does the fan have pullchains?
