    Fan works light doesn't
Any ideas on a windward II fan/light combo remotely controlled. I have changed batteries in remote, checked bulb and got a new bulb, when Press the light button on remote I get the light display and brightness but no light comes on.

I was wondering if it might be the ballast, It is a 9" circline fluorescent bulb. I would believe that if the fan powers up that power has to be getting to the light circuitry.

    Any ideas/ help.

It is likely a problem with either the ballast or the control. Take the fan back to Home Depot for a replacement under warranty.

It is over two years old I have already been there to look at that option as well as see if they sold the ballast, which they don't, if it might be a ballast anyone have an idea on where you can get one.

    Thanks

The fan has a lifetime warranty. Take it back there they should give you a replacement. Home Depot is supposed to honor the Hampton Bay warranty. Otherwise you could try calling the company for replacement parts. Many different companies make Hampton Bay fans I'm not sure which one makes the Winward, here are a list of numbers you can try:
