I am putting in a new electric service in my house and wanted to know what size wire I need for a 200 amp service

get an electrician to do it

war_animal agrees: if you know your electric code and electric you can do it yourself,i have seen licensed electrician do crappy work

Copper, 3 2/0 and a #4. You can probably downsize neutral to 1/0.
Would need to calculate. 2" PVC.

This question is almost a year old, I would think the service has been installed by now.

Please check the date of the posts before answering.

Also, people do not come here to hear they need to hire, simply answer the question asked. Single family homeowners are allowed to do their own electrical work. This is something professional electricians need to deal with.
