    Electrical load: what is the step by step procedure how to compute the electrical load at house electrical wiring and lighting etc? Can you give me some example of it. Ty:o

    Doreen... is this homework?

    Well all you have to do is inspect every fixture, check all wattages. Then go to each appliance, find the label and look at the current draw. Then calculate the totals and you have the total load... assuming that everything is running / lighting at the same time. Simple, eh?

    Service rating and branch circuit load calculations are done in accordance with Article 220 of the National Electric Code.

    There is no step by step method, or shortcuts, as each building is unique.
