Disable a Motion Sensor on 3way Switches

I'm ready to "throw in the towel" on my outdoor floodlight, motion sensor operated by three-way switches. Most of the time the driveway just stays in the dark because the two different motion sensors I've tried are complicated to figure out on a 3-way switch.

So I simply want to by-pass the motion sensing and just operate manually. My guess is that this should be simple to do but I'd like confirmation and instruction, please. How do I proceed?

Most motion detectors have three wires and I assume its attached to you flood light fixture. The sensor should have a black, red and white wire. Unhook the white wire completely from the circuit, then remove the red & black wires from the circuit and connect the two remaining wires together. You probably have romex cable suppling power to your light. After you remove the sensor you'll have the black wire connected to one wire from each light, and the white wire will be connected to the other wire from each light.
