    Conversion watts to candlepower
    I need to know how much wattage is 80 candlepower?

    It varies widely depending on the type of light. Many light bulb packages give watts and lumens. To convert lumens to candle power, see http://www.ex.ac.uk/cimt/dictunit/dictunit.htm#PQ Or perhaps you will have to dig up a CRC handbook of chemistry and physics for candlepower.

    You can't really convert candlepower to watts. Watts is an input measurement and candlepower is an output measurement. You could actually have a 2 watt bulb that puts out the same candlepower as a 3 watt bulb. It has to do with a lot of things like efficiency, reflection, etc. Candela, on the other hand has a direct relationship to watts.     1 candle power = 12.57 lumens
