    It varies widely depending on the type of light. Many light bulb packages give watts and lumens. To convert lumens to candle power, see http://www.ex.ac.uk/cimt/dictunit/dictunit.htm#PQ Or perhaps you will have to dig up a CRC handbook of chemistry and physics for candlepower.

    You can't really convert candlepower to watts. Watts is an input measurement and candlepower is an output measurement. You could actually have a 2 watt bulb that puts out the same candlepower as a 3 watt bulb. It has to do with a lot of things like efficiency, reflection, etc. Candela, on the other hand has a direct relationship to watts.
