Windward II light replacement.

I've replaced my light in my Hampton Bay Windward II fan and now the light doesn't work. The fan works fine but nothing for the light. I've purchased 2 bulbs (9") and neither works. Help..

Are you sure that you have in fact purchased the correct replacement bulbs? If so, it is possible it was not the bulb that was originally bad but the ballast/receiver/etc. In any case, if you can determine it is not the bulb but something inside the fan, take the fan back to Home Depot and exchange it.
