Ceiling fan 3 speed control switch.
I have a Moss Hi Line model HFL ceiling fan. It was purchased 1983. The pull switch went bad and someone else disassembled it leaving no diagrams. It has a 3 speed two layer pull switch and a 5 wire capacitor. The capacitor is Shizuki.d306 with markings 1.25 - 4.75 - 4.75 - 8.00. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this model? Thanks for your help.

Hi! flatfoot, and welcome to AMHD :)

    First a little history:
Moss Manufacturing Company Timeline And Information
At end of timeline (1990) it tells of Moss being sold to king of fans.

Forum of this same site may hold your answer. Vintage Ceiling Fans.Com Forums - Home

For now, this is the closest I could get:
    King of Fans
Scroll to the bottom of FAQ, 3rd from bottom has question on switch to capacitor, there's an 800#

I called King of Fans this morning and of course they never heard of Moss. Also the question is out on two other forums. Vintage is one of them. Hopefully someone will come through with info. Thanks for trying K.

King of Fans bought out Moss, but it was many many years ago. Some time in the 80s.

I am the same person that answers questions on vcf.com. I personally cannot tell you the wiring, unless it is already answered on the pullchain repair and replacement link mentioned above. Our best bet is finding someone else with a Moss Hi Line fan and getting them to check the wiring.
