Have any pictures of this work?

Poor connections cause arcing. Poor, sloppy workmanship, not so much, but is a real good indication of poor connections.

An every electrical fire is caused by arcing. Most very slow creating heating smoking connections, many real arcing sparks, and some BOOM.

And how!

Will never forget the day I heard a 480 dead short inside a j-box in the wall of a garbage disposer at a hospital. I was standing in the hall way about 40 feet away when the maintenance main flipped on the breaker to test, sounded like a shot gun went off, and I recall the hall lights flickered.
