Bathroom light + extractor fan wiring
I am about to replace the light fitting in the bathroom, but the extractor fan is connected to it, there is a number of wires which are all connected, with only 2 brown wires coming down, but I have 3 connections on my new light fitting -earth, live, neutral, how do I connect it properly? Help!

My guess is that your located in the UK. I only am an expert with USA wiring. The two brown wires may be the 220 volt feed. If you are replacing the light, which wires are feeding the existing light? You should only need to connect the new fixture to those wires. The earth wire should connect to any eart wire or metal box that is there.

You may need to get a voltage tester to check each wire and determine there purpose. Beyond that you may need to hire a professional.
