    Bad Neutral Wire
My neutral wire wasn't working from my bedroom to the hall light. Everything on that circuit wasn't working. I have fuses not circuit breakers. The wires come down from the attic. The wire wasn't loose and had no signs of being chewed or anything.

    What would have caused this?

I give up, please let me know how you determined that your "Neutral" conductor failed?

Can you please describe the failure you have and how you have troubleshot it so far?

It is entirely possible that your neutral did fail, but how did you examine the entire run of the conductor to ensure it was not damaged? Is the run exposed?
