    3 speed electric motor wiring
    Hello
I have been given a 52" hampton bay ceiling fan in perfect condition but without the remote. My problem is how to wire this fan. The motor housing has four small gauge wires emerging from it: Yellow, Pink, Grey, Red

The fan came with a HUNTER model CP-9110R receiver (no remote) that outputs four wires: Yellow, Pink, Grey, Black w/white stripe. I had purchased a remote control kit from Hampton Bay that outputs only one lead each for fan and light before I realized the fan motor was a multi winding type. Is there a way to wire this fan using the parts I already have? I want to use the 3 speeds and reverse capabilities of this fan.

Thank you so much for your time and consideration.

That is not the correct receiver for this fan. You will need to obtain the correct receiver (and remote) from the manufacturer.
