solenoid connection

How to wire Linear solenoids to any other electric component? I did not see any junction from where I could wire in/out from the solenoid? I am building a machine and that is one of the components that has to be wired.

What type / brand of solenoid?
Can't you find the contacts?
Is it a type for normal cable-wiring, or PCBoard mounting?
