Porter' Internal Value Chain for a clothing importer

Hi everyone
I was wondering if anyone would know how to apply porter's internal value chain analysis for a wholesale company importing clothing and textiles.
I need to know what its primary and support activities would need to be, and how i could apply the generic manufacturing model proposed by porter to this type of company.
Or if anyone knows how a company like that would function, that would help me alot as well.
