No, it won't keep the environment clean, but trees are important, and planting a tree is never a bad thing.

Plants provide oxygen, so they're necessary.

So go ahead and plant a tree, or even 2 or three.

Plant enough trees, and make a forest, then you have a large forest fire and it ruins the enviorment.

Yes, we used to do tree planting in South Georgia,
* anyone know what a person who dibbles is ?

And of course I was making a joke of sort, since these recent forest fires have been so harmful to the owners, the enviorment and more. But trees do help in clearing the air, but we need forests planted, not a few trees in the back yard, but every tree does help.

heard bout biodegradation..? here they plant trees for cleanin purpose.. Certain plants take up toxic substances in them present in the soil and these plants are then burnt so that toxins are no more spread(this' done in industrial areas)... plants filter the soil... Maybe they clean almost everything... air, of which we all know.. maybe the water it takes, the surroundings... etcetra. Let's find out.
