when german shepperds put on weight

i have a 11 month old german shepard dog. it is my first dog of this breed. and to me it seems like he is not putting on the pounds. when do gsd normally put on the weight. he has grown in height but i am concerned about his weight.

I have never ever seen a FAT german sheppard no matter how old. They are always slim and very handsome.

German shepherds tend to stay on the thin side for the first couple of years. They tend not to overeat and are generaly very active. Mine is now ten and weighs about 96 pounds. he was really thin until about two the he filled out and has mantained his current weight.

As long as he is eating ok I would not worry.
