What Breed/Mix is my Dog?

My dog's name in the picture is Brownie. I adopted him at pound and they said he was a German Shepard mix. He is now 7 months old. Can any one help me figure out what the other mix might be?

He seems to be mixed w/ some breed that has a narrow or thin bone structure.

I didn't realize that he was already 8 months...looks in the pic like he is around 4 months because you mentioned he has GS in him...

well i dont know if it helps but my old german shepard came from police dog lines and she ended up being small and fine boned even though she was a purebred. she was so small you could pick her up no problem.
