What causes these symptoms in a Pom?

My good tempered Pom. Threw up on Tue morning, my husband found it and cleaned it up. I did not know when I came home from work that she had been sick. But when I went to let her out of the kitchen she was huddled in the back of her crate and would not come out. She eventually came out on her own, but she began scratching and layed around like she was sick. She is now refusing to eat. But the biggest change is she wont go in her crate or the kitchen. Normally we tell her to go to bed and she runs to the kitchen now she refuses and tried to nip me when I pointed for her to go in there. She has eaten a little, but she is sleeping by the refriderator as far from her crate as she can get. We checked her crate to see is something might be in there. But no luck. How do we reacclumate her to her once favored sanctuary? Should she see a vet?

You definitely should take the dog to the vet immediately. If she has vomitted and is not eating properly and behaving a little strange then you need to act fast. There are many deadly diseases that begin with these types of symptoms... parvo being one of them. Please don't wait, because if it is something like parvo the sooner you see a vet, the better her chances are of survival.

Poms are notorious to develop pancreatitis. She needs to be checked out by a vet.
