I frequently suggest a professional dog walker to those that must leave their dog all day. I hope you find lots of customers.

Well, if AMHD is allowing her to advertise her/his business here, it might help for Muttlover to state where she/he is located. It is a little difficult to walk a dog for someone who doesn't live in your area.

Muttlover, have you created flyers and posted them in all the vets offices, pet stores, grocery stores, shelters,... in your area? That is one way that will help you to find customers.

muttlover, you are in an area of Florida that is busy. Those places that you have posted are all great ideas but you need to expand it to the places I mentioned. You have to think about all the areas that dog lovers can possibly be found in. You have a number of rescues and shelters in that area, vets, & pet stores. When you walk through their door, don't just try to stick up a flyer but talk to the people there. Be very respectful and let your love of dogs come through while you are speaking to them. Their decision on whether to allow you to post your flyers or not, depends upon how you treat the people you encounter when you first walk through the door of the business. If you can learn the art of the "schmooze" you are halfway there.

If you want to walk dogs, then I would suggest you advertise in large office buildings. Those are the type of people that don't have the time to walk their dogs.

RubyPitbull agrees: Good idea. This is all about thinking outside the box and finding a way to contact as many people as possible through advertising.
