    Sick 9 week old Chihuahua.
We were outside and out of nowhere his head involuntarily was tilting back,(like equilibrium was screwed up) then he started yelping like he was in terrible pain. It lasted about ten minutes now he's sleeping and no more yelping. Any suggestions, besides the obvious which I cannot afford presently!

You had better be able to afford it. He is still a baby at 9 weeks and if he displayed pain, then you should have him checked out. We can't diagnose a human baby, let alone a lovely baby pet. I know the breed and he just a little thing at nine weeks.

You need to understand that at 9 weeks old, puppies are very vulnerable to disease and illness and anytime you see symptoms such as this, that it is cause for concern, and that you better find a way to get the money to take this puppy to the vet immediately. There are so many different things that could be going on. You need to find out what it is, and get it treated. If you don't and it's something really serious, the puppy can die! If an animal, is sick or injured and you don't get that animal the proper veterinary care, it's considered Animal Abuse and it's against the law. If you can't afford medical treatment for this puppy, then you need to surrender this puppy to the vet, so they can treat the poor thing, and re-adopt it out to a loving family, who is financially able to properly provide for it! It breaks my heart when I see people, who get animals and cannot properly provide for them. Getting medical treatment, is your responsibility and this puppy is counting on you to help him.
