    Sick 3 month old chihuahua
    I have a 3 month old Chihuahua barely 2 pounds. He is up to date on his shots and dewormings. However Last Tuesday he had his latest shot and on Thurday had a deworming treatment and has not been right since. He started Vomiting on Friday. Stopped on Saturday and was eating and drinking and acting more normal by Saturday afternoon. However since this morning he was vomiting again and not eating or drinking. I have been giving pedialite to him through a syringe as recommended by the vet till I can get him there on Tuesday.
    All I have done today is sit and cuddle with him because he doesn't want to anything but that.
    I am very scared and don't know what to do. Can someone please help.

    He may have had a bit of reaction from his deworming. Poor little guy. You might want to try giving him a teaspoon of Pepto Bismol, and maybe have him lay on a 'warm' heating pad or hot (warm) water bottle. This might soothe him some.

    Good luck, and I hope the vet can figure out why he is sick tomorrow. :)

    Thank you. The pepto really helped. After I gave that to him he actually started drinking on his own. The vet said it was an upset stomach from the puppy dewormer.
    I still had to force feed him up until this morning when he started eating on his own again and is starting to slowly bouce back to himself. It has really made my week as I had stomach aches myself from worrying about him.

    I'm so happy that this helped you! :) I'm glad the little guy is getting back to himself again. I know what it's like to feel so helpless when you have a sick little fur babe! My baby Niki sends licks and schmoozes to your little guy! :)
