Hi... what your about to hear may seem strange, and it is but its not my fault and I wish I didn't have it. I'm 15, I'm from england and I'm going into year 11 and I'm gay. (not out) if you don't know, voraphillia is where someone desires to be eaten by something, normaly whole (look it up on wikepedia, search vore). I've had this fetish ever sincei was young, I've always desired to be in the stomach of a creature and still alive. I know that other people around the world have this same fetish as I've researched it. Sometimes I prefer to watch videos of snakes eating things than pornography. It creeps me out sometimes and I feel isolated but I deal with it. Is having this fetish healthy? Can I control it? Its not a fetish I can really fulfil so its hard to deal with and being gay makes it so much harder. Should I tell someone about my fetish? Should I forget about it? What should I do!!

I would think that the only problem with having a fetish is when it interferes with your ability to function in relationships or society.

I can't relate to it, but I don't have to, and respect that you like what you like.

I will also say I personally have a few "fetishes" or desires that I will never act on, never try, never talk about, and I don't think denying some fetishes or desires is necessarily awful.

Its when these things begin to control us in a way that makes our life unhealthy and unsustainable that its to be of concern.

I'm actually very impressed that you are exploring your feelings and taking the time to look into it.

If its becoming overwhelming to your every day life, you might want to think about some counseling to get it under control. You won't be able to "forget about it" so perhaps just give it time and embrace your thoughts... after all, there is nothing to be ashamed of!

I know exactly what you are going through. I'm in the same situation as you except that I'm 17 and out. I also like the idea of being inside the stomach of some animal while still being alive. I just want you to know that if you ever want to chat about this you can. I had to go through this on my own but I'll tell you now. If I can I'll help you out in any way I will, k. I know it must be a bit scary but I felt the same way too I've had this fetish since I was at least 7 or 8. and even now I'm still not sure what to think of it, but I've accepted it.
