Raising Youg Dogs

Hello
I have adopted a second rescue dog and he is more than a hand full. My fiance and I adopted one last January and he is a great dog. THe new dog is having a lot of trouble with being in the crate. We came hom from work last week and he had pooped and peed in his crate. It was all over him! I was wondering if anyone has any words of wisdom that can help us in getting him to stop pooping in his crate. Our other dog never had a problem with it and he was fine with crate training. So we are new to this!
