Whatever you do.. Don't purchase beneful.. Beneful is aweful!

Take her to a very immediately. Don't sit around waiting for answers from this site.

If you were lethargic and not eating, would you ask someone online what to do? Or would you go to a doctor?

If this were my puppy, I'd pay the emergency fee and go to the vet. She's going to need an IV and some meds.

For the mean time, syringe pedialite into her mouth and try and keep her hydrated.

Also, contact the breeder. They sold you a sick dog. Most rep. breeders will take the dog back and give you a healthy pup or help out with vet care (mostly the first suggestion).

    Vet. NOW!

She has been to the Vet.. 3 times.. this is not the first time she did this.. she's done this before.. sleeps and then is all right.. The Vets can't find anything wrong with her.. She drinks water every 30 minutes and pees every 30 minutes..

What does she need an IV and Meds for? I don't understand... And why is Beneful awful.. I need some explanations.. She is eating.. she's been eating chicken for 3 days and I've been syringing puppy mild with A/D into her every 2 hours with Nutra Care.. She has an appetite and eats she was growling earlier if anyone came near her food.. but now she's wobbly that's the concern.. can she just be exhausted.. she's very alert just won't stand up..

Then go to a different vet. There is something wrong with her. Those types of behaviors are not normal.

Has a blood test been done? This could be a disease that needs attention. If this doesn't seem normal to you, seek another vet. Its not uncommon for animals to be mis-diagnosed.

Beneful has a lot of nasty ingedients in it. The main ingredient is corn. Dogs are carnivores, not chickens. Also, the colored kibbles in beneful are food dyes that were deemed unfit for human consumption and is actually boarder line to poison. The meat sources are from various animals and are body parts, intestine, beaks and feet. The flavor is typically from blood being added in the mixture. Its just horrible food all around. Get your pup on a quality food. A good quality puppy food that doesn't a lot would be the chicken soup for the dog lovers soul: puppy formula. Its very good quality with a reliable meat source.

But please, get your dog to a vet. She needs your help. She can't tell you where it hurts, but trust me, she is not comfortable!

I absolutely agree with Lucky. You need to take your pup to ANOHER vet for a second opnion. This does not sound like normal behaviour at all!

Puppies are at the highest risk for being dehydrated, and if she is drinking and than immeaditly voiding, she is not keeping herself properly hydrated. Pedialite will keep her hydrated.

You said the vets did tests, like what? Blood tests, x rays?

Just thought of something... this could very well be the beginning stages of parvo.

Are her stools normal? Any strange oder coming from her body? Puppies with parvo heading into diarrhea stage, the smell aweful, almost rotting. Take a stool sample in to the vet for a parvo test. If you already did it, then do it again. Sometimes the first test doesn't catch this deadly virus in the beginning stages.

She's been tested for Parvo and vaccinated for Parvo.. She's also been to two vets.. She eats a lot chicken that's the only think we can get her to eat right now.. then I supplement with puppy milk mixed with A/D... No diahrea... she is always hungry.. I also have pedialyte and water in her water bowl and I supplement that by syringing pedialyte also to make sure she doesn't get dehydrated. She was 8 weeks when we got her.. 8 weeks tomorrow.. She's going to the Vet this Am.. Where do I find that Chicken soup food for the dog.. it's not at Pet Smart... I'm open for everything.. What about chew stuff.. snacks.. what are good for the puppy?

Petsmart and petco won't carry that food. Its kind of a specialty food. Very holistic. Check out their web page. Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul : Products : Puppies : Dry Food... if that food isn't in your area, let me know. I have more dog food solutions you may be interested in.

As far as toys, anything she can't swallow is fine. Try to avoid rawhides. Try offering a puppy bone by nylabone.

I'm really at a loss on what could be wrong with your pup. She could very well be not eating and holding out for the chicken. Try and get a good food and mix that food with the chicken and try and get her to eat solid food. Id stop with the milk, she needs to be weaned... what kind of milk are you using?

I'm using the puppy milk 2 with the hills diet just as a supplement.. she doesn't like that either.. she went to the vet today.. her glucose was great her Crit was 10.. it was 38 last week.. they gave her a shot of K and B12 and more blood work tomorrow.. they are afraid she might have a Hepatic disease and they said if she has that it's fatal... so we are praying against that.. hopefully we will get her red blood count back up and she will be great.. she ate good just now and was excited and squeeling to see me so hopefully that is a good sign now she is in the corner with her treat.. Her electrolytes are great.. she has 3 vets.. so no more vets..

I have read your answer a couple times and I am still confused about her current age. Is she eight weeks old now? How long have you had her? Or is she 16 weeks?
Also, did the vet recommend the puppy milk supplement?

Ok.. her bile acids came back normal.. and she has been crashing worse and worse all day.. it doesn't make sense cause when she eats at night she can't walk or do anything.. today she was fine this am.. and has gotten progressively weaker all day.. she wants the nutrical and the pedialyte and that's it.. but her symptoms all point towards the shunt.. but her bile acids came back completely normal.. but her liver enzymes were all off yesterday.. is there anything we can give her for her liver? Ughhhh I'm heartbroken
