My Puppy

Okay my three year old dog just had puppies and she had seven of them six of the puppies have there eyes open but the other puppy does not have it eyes open yet and I am worried about it is there some way i can open it or put something on it to make it open. They were born October. 3 2006. Please write back.

its not terrably abnormal for one to be a few days behind the others but look at his or her eyes and make sure there's no crust or anything. if there is then get some eye flushing solution or even saline and a cotten ball and gently rub the crust off or atleast make it easier for the puppy to work open when its ready. if it goes more then i would say 3 days after the others and its eyes are still not open then you may want to call your local vet but i don't think you have a thing to worry about just yet as long as it seems healthy in all other ways
