    Pug throwing up
My one year old female pug will throw up after she eats. Its not all the time but it is enough that I am concerned. Could heat have an impact?

Yes, devil, if it is very hot it most definitely could have an impact on your dog throwing up. The times that she does vomit, is she eating then running around a bit? The full tummy with the exercise combined with the heat, will create the condition for vomiting. Is she gulping her food down? Try slowing her down a bit. Either put a rock on top of her food so that she is forced to slow down, or spread her kibble out on a very large cookie sheet. Don't encourage play immediately after eating and see if this resolves the problem. Post back and let us know.

Maybe smell her ears if they smell really bad then she's sick

I agree with Ruby on this one Devil; I had a similar experience with my german shep. Pup a couple years ago. I took her to the vet and the told me to do something pretty dern similar to what Pit as suggested. If you pug starts acting weird/sickly along with the vomiting, I would take her to the vet ASAP. Oh yeah... smelly ears=sick dog... I don't think so!!

I go with Ruby on slowing down the eating. Jesse is staying with us for a few days. His food get thrown on the floor of his crate. I have little Pug experience, but gulping food is a huge problem with some Labs.

Smelly dog ears may upset your stomach. The dog has an ear infection and needs antibiotics or something.

Better try to get her in this morning if you can. You don't want a sick dog and holiday rates.
