Usually puppies are weaned at 4 weeks. If they are not weaned by 6 weeks it might be best to remove them from their mother. 6 weeks is the earliest puppies should ever be removed from their mother and litter. Before that, they have important socialization to learn and will not pay too much attention to anything except their mother and litter mates. Remove them too soon or too late, and it is hard to develop a good temperament. They should be on a solid, dry puppy chow. Since they are being weaned late, you may have to add a little water to soften it for now.
