Hello! I have a miniature daschund that my son swears is pregnant. The more I watch her the more I agree, but we just aren't sure. Is there a way to tell without taking her to the vet? And how long until we would expect puppies? Anxiously awaiting any information, thank you!!

I suggest that if you suspect she is pregnant, you take her to a veterinarian.

A pregnant dog requires more nutrition, not to mention the fact that if she's expecting, you should be educated on what to do when she gives birth, should there be complications.
