Older dog just started peeing inside

My dog will be 9 in October. She is really afraid of rain, thunder, lightening, fireworks. Recently, it seems that she has been drinking more water....And, it would also seem that when it rains, she pees on the rugs. What's going on????

Have you brought her to the vet to rule out any medical causes yet?

Best bet is to take her to the vet. Can be anything from a UTI to diabetes.

ok now the vet is out there you can try to control her water intake by bring up the bowl at a resonable hour and taking her out to pottie several times before bed time
