Malnurished 2 mo puppy need to get him healthy!

Hello, I just got a puppy last week he was taken away from his mother at 3 weeks and sold to the girl that I bought him from. He is so skinny and last night he started throwing up 3 times, he falls over all the time because he is too weak to keep himself up. I can see every rib and his hip bones. He stopped eating yesterday and he never wants to move. He used to go crazy for food. I have been feeding him a 1/2 cup a day like the vet told me to. 1/4 in the morning and 1/4 in the evening
I just need some advice

Should I find some puppy milk and start feeding him that?
Right now he is eating puppy food that the vet gave him.
Should I give him canned food? It’s softer and has more calories?

HELP!

He is a male Chipin if that makes a difference

Back to the vet for advice. I'll be honest... this puppy can die very easily. You need to be working closely with a vet to get the best advice you can on handling this. And, be prepared. Despite your best efforts, you may not be able to save this puppy.
