i love my dauchund

i have a female miniature dauchund that has started shaking , once you hold her after about 10- min she will stop. She is 3 yrs. old

It never hurts to check with the vet before working with any behavior problem. If she hasn't been if for a routine check or shots, you might go ahead.

Many of the smaller dogs have trouble keeping warm. At 3 years old, she is mentally mature, and may have settled down a little providing less body heat. When you hold her, she is warmed by your body. Make sure she has a nice warm bed away from drafts. You might also try a sweater. A good game of fetch will warm her up.

Yes, you may check with your vet. She may be cold.

Please see your Vet. She might be just cold, but there could be other reasons she is "shaking". Your Vet can give you his/her opinion, and you can take it from there. I do wish you and she the best of luck.
