Dogs fed on a regular schedule and with a regular schedule of exercise tend to be regular about their bowel movements. When you think she is due, take her for a walk, keep on going. They can only hold it so long, eventually she will have to have a bowel movement. When she is finished, praise her like crazy, rant and rave about what a great dog she is. After a few times, she should catch on.

Take a plastic bag too. When you are done with what a great dog she is, put the bag over your hand and pick up the stools, turn the bag inside out and tie it. Then dispose of it. I like the bags my newspaper comes in on wet days. Some people use bred wrappers.
