How to train my year old yorkie!

I have been struggling with my shorkie lately. She doesnt listen, does her business all over the house and furniture, leaves running everytime they open a door, she is just out of control. What should I do? How do i house train her? Can i do something to change her? This is getting way out of hand. I would appreciate an answer. Please and thank you ahead of time

shazamataz Dogs Expert Join Date: Feb 2009 Location: Australia Posts: 4,057	Yorkies are notorious for being stubborn. How old is she? Has she been spayed? I would suggest group obedience training. It not only teaches them basic commands but it also teaches them that you are the boss and teaches them to focus when there is a lot of activity going on around them.
