    Fleas on a Chihuahua puppy
    What can I use to get rid of fleas on a 6 week old Chihuahua puppy?

    Just curious as to how such a young puppy got fleas?
    Do not use any flea treatments or chemicals on the puppy! Treat the mother to prevent them from coming back and wash the puppy in a small amount of baby shampoo then dry it and use a flea comb the remove any fleas in the dogs fur.
    Once the puppy is 8 weeks old you can use a puppy flea treatment.
