| There are much better ways to get a puppy moving than to pull it around on a leash. A young puppy has a very fragile trachea and should never be abused like that.
In may cases getting out in front and coaxing it slapping your thighs works. Treats can work well too. If that fails, try dropping behind it and run past it in baby steps while calling ''Go, go, go!'' in an excited voice. That is straight out of my Puppy Raising Manual and it worked very well for me with several puppies. |
